Title: Technology Update - Making Our Airspace Safer and More Efficient

Making Our Airspace Safer and More Efficient

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) runs our nation’s air transportation system. More than 62 million travelers fly America’s skies during the year and the FAA is doing its best to get them to their destination safely and more predictably with fewer flights cancelled, quicker takeoffs and landings, and more efficient routes.

We’ve recently updated our website to show how we’re using new navigation, accurate aircraft tracking, enhanced communications, increased data sharing, and new weather technology to make U.S. air travel more safe and efficient. Please visit our website to learn more about how we are making our airspace safer and more efficient.
