Hello All,

I am running Redhat 7.2 with kernel 2.4.7-10 on a Dual CPU, 2 GB RAM machine.
I am running Sendmail , Cyrus IMAP and Ldap on the machine

After few hours  I get the following error  in the syslog error file

Assertion failure in do_get_write_access() at transaction.c:606:
 "!(((jh2bh(jh))->b_state & (1UL << BH_Lock)) != 0)"
May 26 17:29:37 netserv kernel: kernel BUG at transaction.c:606!

The load on the system does not go beyond 3.0 and also i have increased the file-max to 131072
Is this a Kernel Bug   or a Ext3 Bug or an application problem
