I have been reviewing the literature on using the ext3+ACL filesystem, and so far only scant coverage on the topic of backup and restore utilities of such a configuration exists. (The scant coverage concerning backup of ext3+ACL, is that it's broken!) If you wouldn't mind commenting. What is your recommend method for backing up a ext3+ACL filesystem?
