Nope, it's not SMP.  Specs:

Single processor Pentium III 800MHz
768MB RAM
ASUS CUBX rev 1.02 MB
6 Maxtor 120GB 5400rpm HDs
1 Onboard ATA66 CMD648 controller
2 Promise PCI ATA100 100TX/2 controllers (20268 chipset)
Intel 1000BaseT server NIC

Partitioned like so:

md2 (data array I was writing to) :
      active raid5 hde4[0] hdg4[1] hdi4[2] hdk4[3] hdm4[4] hdo4[5]
