Hi, I'm running jack+ardour and noticed the following: Jackd uses named pipes and sockets which are located on /tmp. If I mount /tmp as ext3 I get latency problems. When I mount /tmp as ext2 everything works fine. As far as I know named pipes and sockets have no disk interaction. What is the difference?
