Kernel 2.4.3 & ext3 patchable?

thanks for your insight; but as it turns out the binary only module that
tivoli provides for sanergy is not SMPsafe under 2.4; which kills us more
than anything.

btw, I'm about 95% of the way done with backporting ext3 to redhat
2.4.2-2; I just need to add prefetch() (required by fs/buffer.c)..  but in
that we won't even be using this kernel at all; I'm probably not going to
finish the backport right now; as I have more important things to do.
