How does drm-intel-nightly make it into the mainline kernel?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I'm looking to find how a specific drm-intel-nightly commit [1] makes it into the mainline kernel.

I opened [2] and while the bug was fixed quickly, I haven't gotten much traction from the Fedora kernel folks getting that patch into Fedora's kernel, and I wasn't able to get the patch to apply to my F21 kernel.

What's the flow from drm-intel-nightly to the mainline kernel? Is it outside the scope of this list to ask how I can follow this commit through each step?

Thanks,

Chris
