Sorry, but how about people try to come up with _a solution_ first. There's been loads of talk about this, lots of drivers trying to do integrated or driver specific approaches, but only one or two attempts at doing something driver independent. If all the effort that's been put into discussion was put into sorting out a solution, maybe we'd be a little further forward than we are now.
