I guess I might write that as either:

	if (!edidname)
        	edidname = fallback;

	if (!edidname) {
		kfree(fwstr);
                return 0;
	}

or:

	if (!edidname) {
        	if (!fallback) {
                	kfree(fwstr);
                        return 0;
                }
                edidname = fallback;
	}

to make it faster to read, but meh. Up to you.
