[RV280 mesa 10.1.6] Leaking dma buffer object! in r200_radeonReleaseDmaRegions

When playing a certain game (Vagrant Stories) in the pcsx Playstation emulator, i get the reproducible error message

File radeon_dma.c function r200_radeonReleaseDmaRegions line 371
Leaking dma buffer object!

in the terminal/console.

The piece of code is:

    /* move waiting bos to free list.
       wait list provides gpu time to handle data before reuse */
    foreach_s(dma_bo, temp, &rmesa->dma.wait) {
        if (dma_bo->expire_counter == time) {
            WARN_ONCE("Leaking dma buffer object!\n");
            radeon_bo_unref(dma_bo->bo);
            remove_from_list(dma_bo);
            free(dma_bo);
            continue;
        }

in file src/mesa/drivers/dri/r200/radeon_dma.c. That's mesa 10.1.6 from git, kernel 3.18.9 on a Mac mini G4.

Any suggestions ? Is this a serious bug or just a little annoyance ? The game continues without problems after the error message.
