In Gnome anything stopped to function except of mouse moving. Mouse clicks, key
presses (including attempts to switch windows) stopped to work.

I pressed Alt+Ctrl+Backspace. The top window (which was maximized) disappered,
the next (also maximized) window appeared with titlebar only and gray instead
of window content.

After pressing Alt+Ctrl+F1 I saw this message:

[87576.396057] nouveau E[     DRM] GPU lockup - switching to software fbcon

Then I gave `reboot` command. While rebooting there was an approximately the
following message:

nouveau ... failed to idle channel 0xcccc0000 ...

The bug repeats about once per two days :-(

I have a 32 bit Debian Linux "testing" system with 64 bit kernel.
