I tried 3.16.0 just using radeon.dpm=0 (without softlockup_panic=1) and I got a different stack trace. Shorter. It repeats itself every about 30 seconds more or less. Keyboard lights don't flash. The same message keeps coming out.

Sounds like the panic happens after vesafb is already shut down in
favour of radeon.

Search for '8-.*font' in Documentation/svga.txt.

Other possibilities would be serial console or possibly netconsole.
