Andy, you have behavior like that (more or less those seconds for stuter) if PIPE_USAGE_STREAM is reverted, right? Then maybe that is the right way to go, global performance will suffer a little but if nothing better can't be done then revert of PIPE_USAGE_STREAM is OK :)
