I guess datasheet provides at least information what first byte means and standard says clearly that it is DCS for values < 0xb0 and MCS (manufacturer command set) for values >= 0xb0. You can use defines to make it more readable. Please look at panel-ld9040.c how it could be done. s6e3fa0_dcs_write_seq_static(ctx, MCS_MANPWR, 0x16); looks better. The same for other sequences.
