Oops, typo in last comment. When I turn off the GPU using: echo OFF > /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch and then try to turn on the GPU using: echo ON > /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch GPU reset messages are printed in the kernel.
