[PATCH 0/7] drm/msm: what's in store for 3.15

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

An early look at what I have lined up for 3.15. Main highlights are:

 * HDMI audio support (sans interface to ALSA which needs to be
   invented)
 * Basic GPU power management
 * Add chip-id param, so userspace can know the GPU patch revision
   level (which gallium driver needs in a couple places)
 * Convert over to use new componentised device support and get rid
   of global pdev ptrs

Rob Clark (7):
  drm/msm: hdmi audio support
  drm/msm: add hang_debug module param
  drm/msm: spin helper
  drm/msm: crank down gpu when inactive
  drm/msm: add chip-id param
  drm/msm: use componentised device support
  drm/msm: validate flags, etc
