I tried to finally get a usable laptop by using FGLRX, but neither 13.12 nor
14.1~beta1.3-1 worked with my Debian installation. That means, GNU/Linux is
unusable with this AMD based laptop and, jugdging from the time wasted to get
GNU/Linux to work, I regret ever buying it. The disk with MS Windows 8.1 was
put back in and somebody else is using it now. Judging from the current state I
won’t be able to recommend to anyone to buy an AMD based laptop. Sorry.

Also I won’t be able to do any further tests.
