I suggest you to apply also "polylines: Handle diagonal lines" (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=91802) which fixes the gtk primitives/Calc issues (bug #68524 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68524)
