[Bug 73053] HD6850 cannot boot with dpm

I have the same problem with a Radeon HD6870 and kernel 3.12.6-300.fc20.x86_64
in Fedora.

I cannot boot with radeon.dpm=1. I see the kernel booting but the monitor goes
black quickly. Sometimes I see the Xorg loading the wallpaper, but suddenly the
image gets corrupted and the monitor goes black.
