The kernels and userspace stacks are generally compatible, so for the most part you can mix and match userspace and kernel versions as long as both support your asics. > > Do you have any ideas on possible root causes of this kernel oops? Some combination of commands from the userspace components is causing a a GPU hang. The driver attempts to reset the GPU, but fails. I would suggest trying upgrading or downgrading your userspace gfx components to see if that helps.
