I would expect in this new world '0' would mean "default behaviour; off unless the new-fangled thing enables profiling" and '1' means "force on". In which case perhaps wording like the below would be clearer: 0: Don't enable fdinfo job profiling sources. 1: Enable fdinfo job profiling sources, this enables both the GPU's timestamp and cycle counter registers.
