Yep, I applied the latest changes from the drm-fixes-3.11 branch (commit 444bddc) to the 3.11 kernel and that resolved the issue for me as well. I had previously tried just the initial GCC fix and that didn't work, so I guess the 'gcc harder' patch was the one that did it for me. Thanks!
