Thanks for the suggestion. I built drm-next-3.10-2 and got the same issue. I had to apply patches fffe01f7a768d07cc50ace71abe28fbf2f786a43 (PCI: Add PCI ROM helper for platform-provided ROM images) and 06a08570085b3b20c45f45dc66dc46851ecbcb5b (radeon: Attempt to use platform-provided ROM image) from 3.9-rc6 for my system to boot, but other than that it is unmodified.
