Can you please file a bug report against bugs.freedesktop.org. Please boot
both broken and working kernel with drm.debug=0xe added to your kernel
cmdline and attach the complete dmesg of each to the bug report.

If you can do a quick bisect to figure out the offending commit, that
would be good, too. And can you please also check whether the latest
3.9-rc kernel is affect? We need to know that since stable rules mandate
that regressions in stable kernels can only be fixed once upstream is
known to work.
