I also considered about mergeing set_fmt, set_fmt_order.
but If we merge this function, we need to seperate all "switch case" routine.
so, complexity has increased after mergeing.

and I designed this set_fmt function with two path.
first)
- set up the format information using relative register
second)
- set up the format ordering using relative register.

one more think about this design concept.
and If you need to merge this function, please give one more comments.
I will change and resent it.

This function is only called by fimc_src_set_fmt() and both functions
have routine to check format. There are also accessing EXYNOS_MSCTRL. So
done those routine at one merged function can be helpful.

You are right. this function control same register. but format and ordering were separated. but relative register was same in source format. but destination format was different.

This function is also only called by fimc_dst_set_fmt and both functions
have format check. So ther can be merged into one function.

This function controled difference register. so, I think this case is no problem. If we merge this routine. than we got the all seperated "switch case" routine.
complexity has increased, and function line count very increased. :)
