Will try that supposed patch as soon as possible. It seems reasonable to me as far as I understand it. So you basically set the flag for r300. I was searching a lot to see where to add these, but I was too noob for telling where I am supposed to put these in to only affect/fix my old card range... Sorry for answering only now. I was in wine garden ;-)
