relevant dmesg output

On an Alienware 15R3 with hybrid graphics (Intel/AMD RX470) I get the above
error message (inter alia) in dmesg both during boot-up and whenever the dGPU
gets woken from pm-suspend. This is not breaking, per se - the dGPU will
perform it's duties normally when called upon, but takes a long time to 'go
back to sleep' when no longer needed - see the bunch of

amdgpu: [powerplay]
failed to send message 148 ret is 0

spam in dmesg. But maybe this has something to do with that?

dmesg attached.
