I can reproduce the error during the FMV as well. You can quickly bypass this
FMV by skipping it before the error occurs (I couldn't remember how to trigger
the skipping selection on your screen). I am wondering if you would get the
same crash too when Mario was about to jump for the first time after being
woken up by cappy?
