on bug 104497
from korbin.freedman@guilderlandschools.net
When attempting to resume my system after a fresh boot before logging in, I get screen static instead of the login page. A console basically displays over the static about 100 “Radeon 0000:01:00.0 ring 0 stalled for more than 31414 seconds” the lengths vary. The messages end with “drm:r600_ib_test [radeon] error fence wait timed out” Then “drm:radeon_ib_ring_tests error radeon: failed testing IB on GFX ring (-110)” When logged in, I also sometimes expierience this, but pressing space, then typing my password removes the static and opens the desktop back up.
