All the packages are installed but it never loads. Blacklisting the radeon drivers results in it switching to llvmpipe which itself has its own set of issues. I'm pretty sure thats a separate issue though. Unfortunately my 390x is of a different GCN from the rest of that years models and I've had no end to the troubles that THAT little tidbit has caused. (Among other things no proper dual monitor support) The Ubuntu Wiki claims that its unsupported but that hasn't been updated in over a year, everywhere else makes it out to be as simple as installing it, if needed blacklisting some drivers and maybe adding something to the Xorg configs. Perhaps I'm missing some step?
