Maybe similar: Fedora 28 with latest updates. RX 550 and monitor on display port. Kernel running with nopti flag. When I lock the computer (ctrl-l on gnome) and leave it for 30m, then display will not come back. The monitor will wake up and after a few secs it will go back to sleep with a no signal message. ctrl-alt-fx does not work. Something else noticed: When I work long, sometimes I get a message from the monitor saying there is no signal and it will go to sleep. I cancel the message and continue working, but it seems something funny is happening with the driver. Note: Before I was using an nvidia quadro with no such problems.
