I preformed the next test suggested to me, by changing /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-device.conf to the following content: Section "Device" Identifier "Default Device" Driver "amdgpu" Option "AccelMethod" "None" EndSection The frequency of the crash was reduced from a matter of seconds to 45 minutes, but a freeze still occurred after that time.
