[Bug 95058] When monitors sleep, backlights stay on, screen is black, and can't be woke up

I believe I am getting the same issue on my MSI Vega 56 while running
linux-amd-drm-next kernel one archlinux.
Works fine until screen sleeps, after screen sleeps it will not wake up again.
System is still alive as I can say in, but I cannot switch VT, and keyboard
input seems to cause the GPU fan to spin faster.
