I've experienced this issue with both AMDGPU-Pro and AMDGPU with the same
visual artifacts out of the box. The radeon driver seems to not have the same
kind of visual artifacts that AMDGPU(-Pro) has but, it's just as unstable
without intervention, at least for me. Changing the firmware didn't make enough
of an impact to make my machine even close to stable by itself.
