https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39202 --- Comment #25 from Siganderson <dj_def@xxxxxxxxxx> 2011-08-18 02:39:36 PDT --- After a hell of attempts I'm at this point: git bisect start git bisect bad 40471856f2e38e9bfa8d605295e8234421110dd6 git bisect good 047f61c5d16d617e1df2deea5c5d5fb2a1b41c95 Bisecting: 352 revisions left to test after this (roughly 9 steps) The bad thing is that I can't compile many kernels in this range because of this error: arch/x86/kernel/entry_32.S:1422: Error: .size expression for apf_page_fault does not evaluate to a constant So I launched git bisect visualize and gave a look to the most interesting commits. There is a sequence of commits in drm, some of them related to radeon and vblank. Could be one of these the bad one? (I can't compile them because of that error) Is there a way to see if one of these commits caused the problem without compiling the kernel? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ dri-devel mailing list dri-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/dri-devel
