[Bug 96868] AMDGPU Tonga only does 2560x1440 at 120hz, switching to 144hz causes display errors, same thing used to happen with fglrx.

So I had the same problem with my RX 480 8GB, screen artifact at 144Hz
(1920x1080).
Your command as root did the trick. Thx again :)
