Try loading the amdgpu.ko module in gdb like this (Obviously please use the correct one for your kernel version): gdb /lib/modules/4.7.0+/kernel/drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/amdgpu.ko And then run l *(amdgpu_fence_wait_empty+0x2a) This should give you a line number when debug symbols are available.
