I've got the same problem with a Sapphire R9 390 Nitro ASUS MG279Q With Windows/Linux+fglrx, 2560x1440@144Hz work fine With Linux+open source stack, it defaults to 2568x1440@139Hz with graphical artifacts due to the 2568 width With AMDGPU PRO 16.10 only 60Hz was possible, haven't tried AMDGPU PRO 16.20 yet Using the open source stack and switching to 120Hz with xrandr -r 120 does the trick and it runs at 2560x1440@119Hz without glitches, but it isn't optimal.
