How are you sure that we must use the *src* width and not the *dst* width in this computation? As the register width is different depending on the transfer direction, I suspect the computation can be wrong in "slave_sg" case. So, I would recommend to keep the "tx_width" property in the descriptor and use it here. Apart from that, it seems that this computation or variants of it are done twice or maybe 3 times.
