Stop this broken thinking. The solution is simple. Put the generic runtime PM changes into the PM tree in a separate /clean/ branch. Merge them into the PM-next branch. Notify me where I can pull that /clean/ branch. I pull that clean branch into my tree, and then apply the AMBA specific patches on top.
