Problem mentioned in this bugzilla is different...and should be fixed in 2.6.24
(underlying nfs or loop device is not present here).

Please try also another cipher and, if possible, other AES module implementation
(optimised vs generic implementation - see other thread on this list).

I suspect particular AES implementation here - not dm-crypt code
neither particular fs.

Which aes module is in use for your configuration?
(check with lsmod |grep aes)
