Hi, de.gentoo-wiki.com suggests an "aes-xts-benbi" cipher specification in conjunction with dm-crypt. (Link: http://de.gentoo-wiki.com/DM-Crypt#LUKS_Partiton_erstellen) However, the kernel 2.6.24 configuration only mentions "aes-xts-plain". My question: Is "aes-xts-benbi" a valid cipher specification for dm-crypt on Linux 2.6.24? Which is the difference between the two? Many thanks in advance, Ulrich --------------------------------------------------------------------- dm-crypt mailing list - http://www.saout.de/misc/dm-crypt/ To unsubscribe, e-mail: dm-crypt-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxx For additional commands, e-mail: dm-crypt-help@xxxxxxxx
