I have been trying to set up LUKS on a Suse 9.3 box. Having installed and compiled the source, when I execute cryptsetup luksFormat /dev/loop1 (having run losetup with a FAT32 volume on an external USB drive) I get the message Failed to setup dm-crypt mapping Can you suggest where to look to address this? If you need any information about the system/modules/blahblah I'll be happy to provide it. Thanks for your help
