Before seeing your mail I found out it was fixed in 2.6.18.6.
Apparently the fixes in this kernel didn't make the problem go away
completely as I'm still getting corrupt files.

Going to try out 2.6.19.2 now.

Not even 2.6.19.2 worked.  reiserfsck revealed severe corruptions afterwards.
Are there possibly more problems, other than the one fixed by the patch?

My drives are brand new (and OK according to SMART) and I'm getting
the same error on a different computer.
