I would like to release a new version of cryptsetup in the next few days. We have seen a series of low-profile changes mostly fixing bugs. If everything works for you (tm), I would like to see a release by Tuesday, -- especially because Debian Etch is coming along -- with the following changes: * Fix key > 32 bytes segfaults. * Allow hashing of keys passed through stdin via --key-file=-. * updated gettext 0.154 * removed ancient header conversion routine that is might cause header corruption for unclean dm settings. * Fix http://bugs.debian.org/403075 * No password retry for I/O errors. * Fix hang for "-i 0". svn co http://luks.endorphin.org/svn/cryptsetup/
I'm on vacation until the 4:th so I can't do any testing, but it seems likely that http://bugs.debian.org/403426 needs to be fixed first?
BTW: Jonas, the updated gettext in the SVN version means that dpatch 01 in the debian package can also be removed if a new version is prepared based on the current SVN version.
