Hi,
i'm new in disk encryption and i'll try to use cryptsetup for encrypt my
root partition and all work done.
Now i would like to encrypt disk using a keyfile for not enter passphrase
during boot for use that encryption on my server box but when i put in my
/etc/kernel-img.conf:
ramdisk = /usr/sbin/mkinitrd.yaird
and
#dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-2.6.15-1-686
my box say that yaird do not support keyfile for crypttab :(
I'll try to use
ramdisk = /usr/sbin/mkinitramfs
but when i boot my box say:
No cryptoroot configured, skipping
Done.
Begin: Waiting for root file system...
Done.
ALERT! /dev/mapper/root does not exist. Dropping to a shell!
Any suggestion?
What kind of initrd i can use?
I use Linux Debian Testing (Etch) with linux-image-2.6.15-1-686.

Tnx in advance,
Duke
