You could have the module! macro emit something along these lines:

impl ModuleName for {type_} {
    const NAME: &'static CStr = c_str!(env!("KBUILD_MODNAME"));
}

Then you can do `<Self as ModuleName>::NAME` to obtain the name elsewhere.
