Mostly fine, just a couple of nits.

Firstly the subject lines for the entire set are inconsistent.

Please use the style set by the subsystem:

  `git log --oneline -- <subsystem>` is your friend.

What happens when you drop this case?

I was under the impression this was not required when casting from (void *)
