This looks somehow funny because local_desc will be strictly equal to
desc, but there is nothing you can do here. The DT GPIO lookup process
should not return a desc, but a (gpiochip*, hwnum) tuple to begin
with, so let's keep it that way. I made a note to myself to fix this.
