Perhaps const?

Unnecessary cast?  Maybe:

PTR_ERR is an int.  Does this produce a compile warning?
Maybe reverse these lines and use ret?

		ret = PTR_ERR(clk);
		dev_err(dev, count not get clock: %d\n", ret);
